Sleep is a biological enigma - we do not fully understand why we need it, but we know it is essential to the body, mind and general wellbeing of the whole family. The talk is aimed at promoting good sleep hygiene, and to look at some basic strategies for you to use.

This presentation will provide an overview of a range of strategies to assist you in including children with SEN in a range of practical activities. A key focus of the session will be to demonstrate to you how all children can achieve in practical activities if teachers and coaches are ready to modify and adapt their practices.

Disorder (DCD) and its relationship to sport and

This presentation will introduce to the term DCD (also
known as dyspraxia) and its relationship to children’s
movement in sport and Physical Education.
Charikleia is a trained Physiotherapist and will also
discuss the relationship of her profession to multi
disciplinary approaches to supporting childrens’
physical educational development.

Movement and Multi-Schools Pathways in early
years, primary, secondary and Special Educational Needs Schools
ESP specialise in the design, installation and
support of the playground as a context to deliver
improvements across the whole school. The heart of
ESP’s strategy is born from a Movement/Multi-skills
pathway through the use of specifically designed
playground markings and a structured nationally
accredited CPD training programme.

The Association of Wheelchair Children’s mission is to enable wheelchair-using children throughout the UK to reach their full potential. Throughout the day they will be running various activities including:- wheelchair skills, wheelchair dance, wheelchair games, wheelchair basketball,
wheelchair life skills.
